Project Graduation

WHAT IS PROJECT GRADUATION?

Project Graduation is a tradition at many high schools to keep graduates safe and substance-free on graduation night.  For the MHS class of 2024, the event will be several hours long, filled with all kinds of indoor activities, entertainment and — of course — lots of food and drinks! All students are required to ride the bus to and from the event, which will be held on graduation night. The buses will leave from MHS and return the students back to MHS in the early morning hours the next day and parents are required to pick up each student.

Your contribution of $100 will help to fund a safe celebration the night of graduation. The drug-free, alcohol-free overnight event will be held at Dave & Busters in Woodbridge. Food, games, DJ, dancing, and more!

WHO ATTENDS PROJECT GRADUATION NIGHT?

MHS has approximately 174 seniors who will be graduating on June 20, 2024. The event is open to the entire MHS graduating class, and we hope for 100% participation.

WHO PAYS FOR THE EVENTS?

Project Graduation is funded through donations, fundraisers and parent contributions. The ability to provide an amazing Project Graduation experience relies on help from the senior class families, community members and local sponsors. If you, your business or organization would like to be a Project Graduation sponsor, please email metuchenhsprojectgrad@gmail.com

WHO RUNS PROJECT GRADUATION?

Project Graduation is organized by a committee of parent volunteers. The committee is supported by the Metuchen PT Council and underclassmen parent volunteers who work hard to plan and chaperone an exciting and fun-filled night for your children.

IS IT TOO LATE TO JOIN THE PROJECT GRAD COMMITTEE?

NO! It’s not too late to join and support our Senior Class of 2024. Any amount of support, big or small, helps. Many hands make light work! Please email metuchenhsprojectgrad@gmail.com if you are interested in helping.
